I can get my ears pierced, when I’m five.
I can go to Kindergarten, when I’m five.
I can ride my new bike, when I’m five.
I’m a big kid, when I’m five.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Mimi. I love you so very much and am so very proud of you. You were just born, I swear. It’s like I closed my eyes for just a few moments and now you’re FIVE.

April Showers…
Bring April flowers!
I can’t wait to see these bloom in my front yard. It’s hard to believe that spring is FINALLY here (for good!). I think after the crazy winter we had this year, we deserve it!

Five on Friday – {snapshots}
1) For the past three months Thing 1 and Thing 2 have been sick on and off. Every single virus that has gone around they’ve gotten (I swear!). Lot of extra snuggle time has been had – and once a while, even some of this (rockin’ an almost 102 degree fever, oy!):
2) Speaking of Thing 2 – She is going to be FIVE in just a couple of weeks. FIVE?! How did that happen? She has gotten so very big and is such a KID now – I feel like I blinked and she went from a teeny tiny newborn to a little girl.
3) I think Spring is finally here. Spring = PLAY(ground). And we’ve been twice in the past week 
. Thing 1 and Thing 2 are lovin’ it!
4) I have a new-found love for Fiber bars. Don’t eat more than one a day, though. I’m just sayin’ 
5) I signed up for my first 5K. I have three months to train – and I’m super excited about it!

Happy I Love You Day!
At midnight last night this morning, my hubby and I enjoyed this:
Why, you ask? Today marks our 12th year of dating AND our 7th anniversary of marriage (I’m going to warn you now – if you’re not the sappy type, don’t read this – because, well, it’s gonna be sappy!).
To my husband:
I love you more than you will ever know. You make me stronger as a person. You make me a BETTER person. Life has its ups and downs, but I promise to be always be HAPPY by your side. Thank You for being the amazing person that you are. Thank you for being a wonderful husband and a loving father. Happy anniversary, I LOVE YOU!
